Privacy Policy

JustPicked ("JustPicked," "we," "us") provides a weekly meal-planning service built around locally available food. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email quinn@theqorner.com.

Information we collect

• Account: your email address and password (handled by our authentication provider), and an optional display name.
• Profile & preferences: location (state, ZIP, city), household size, dietary preferences, allergies and notes, cooking frequency, and how you shop for local food.
• Phone number: only if you opt in to text messages, along with the date of your consent.
• Service data: the meal plans and shopping lists generated for you, and basic engagement events (for example, that a plan was generated or a shopping item checked off).
• Billing: subscription status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.

How we use your information

• To build your weekly meal plans and shopping lists.
• To operate your account and process your subscription.
• To send text messages if (and only if) you opted in — see SMS Terms.
• To maintain security and improve the service.

How meal plans are generated

To create your plan, your preferences and the local availability for your area are sent to third-party language-model providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) that generate recipes and plans on our behalf. We do not send them your contact information or payment details.

Service providers we share with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run JustPicked, under agreements that limit their use of it:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — subscription billing
• Anthropic and OpenAI — meal-plan generation
• Twilio — text messaging (only if you opt in)
• Vercel — application hosting

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Text messaging

If you opt in, we use your phone number to send weekly meal-plan reminders and occasional offers. Consent is not a condition of using JustPicked. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP. No mobile information is shared with third parties for their own marketing. Full details are in our SMS Terms.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update your profile in Settings, and you can cancel your subscription at any time. To request access to, or deletion of, your personal information, email quinn@theqorner.com. California residents have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights; we do not sell personal information.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls on your data, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

JustPicked is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
